WHAT IS ALK+ ?
ALK-positive cancer is a type of cancer caused by an acquired abnormality of the ALK gene. It’s not thought to be inherited or passed on to others in any way. There is no known cause or cure (once it has spread to other parts of the body) and occurs in about 70,000 people, worldwide, every year.
